CASA DEL MERLO
Colli Euganei | Controlled Designation of Origin - Merlot
This wine was born from the desire to produce a Merlot, which in Veneto was the most cultivated red grape variety due to its versatility and adaptability to the territory. However, only in a few instances has it made the best of its highest qualities.

The vinification takes place in maceration for 12 days, then it is drawn off and immediately placed in barriques. It ages in French oak barrels for about 12 months, and then it is placed in steel barrels and left to rest for about 7-8 months before bottling.
No clarifications or filtrations are carried out.
Further 10 months of bottle ageing.
It has a deep, impenetrable and dull red colour.
Complex aroma of matured red fruit, rich in spices and balsamic nuances. It is neither impetuous nor alcoholic.
It offers excellent elegance and expectations: It does not blossom immediately; it gradually offers new and complex sensations. It is surprising for its balance, simple but never ordinary.
